Information we collect

When you create an account or place an order, Front Porch Suppers may collect your name, mobile phone number, email address, password, delivery address, apartment or unit number, delivery notes, order history, payment status, communication preferences, and messages related to your account or orders.

How we use your information

We use your information to create and manage your account, prepare and deliver orders, process payments, send order confirmations and delivery updates, respond to support requests, maintain business records, prevent misuse of the service, and send marketing messages only when you have opted in.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. Stripe may collect and process payment details under its own privacy policy and terms.

Text messages and email

We send order confirmations, reminders, and delivery updates by email to the address on your account. These are transactional messages about orders you placed, so they are sent whether or not you opt in to marketing.

Promotional emails are separate and are sent only to customers who opt in to email updates. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can change your preference from your profile at any time.

We collect a phone number so we can reach you about a delivery, but we do not currently send text messages. If we add text messaging in the future, we will ask for your consent first, message and data rates may apply, and we will update this policy before sending anything.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers that help operate the business, such as Stripe for payments, Resend for email, and hosting or database providers. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to complete a business transfer.

Data retention

We keep account, order, payment-status, communication, and delivery records for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and keep accurate business records. If you request deletion, we will review the request and delete or de-identify information when we are legally and operationally able to do so.

Your choices

You can update your contact information, delivery address, password, and email marketing preference from your profile. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. To request help with your information, contact us using the details below.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, database, or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Front Porch Suppers is intended for adults ordering prepared meals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
